This special mix combines Brian Hodgson's dystopian/visionary Doctor Who soundtracks with industrial, contemporary classical and cold electronica. Many first-wave British industrial groups were exposed to Doctor Who and its radical soundtracks at a formative age and they can be seen as a precursor to the industrial sound, just as many Doctor Who storylines dealt with topics later explored by industrial (pollution, mutation, mind control, sonic terror, para-militarism and more).
