Codex Europa plays the Foundry, March 13th.

Tom Wallace, mastermind behind the Southwark Anthology of Noise has invited me to play at Vinyl Pleasures, upstairs at The Foundry. It's free, the venue may soon be closed and there's also Noise=Noise happening downstairs. The set will be split into two sessions from 7.30-8.15 and 9.30-10.15. I'll play some dark Bunker electro and possibly the odd rogue track here and there....

Tanzmuzik Setlist

It was a slightly under-supported and surreal evening but still pleasant and interesting, we all enjoyed each others' sets. The infrastructure was a little problematic and the vinyl needles being reclaimed halfway into my set forced me to resort to CDs and even prompted an unplanned swerve off into Dutch acid techno! Thanks to Zara, Adam and James for the invite.

It's my personal selection of industrialised/structured noise - industrial, power electronics gabber, techno, techstep and more. I was interested in tracks that incorporate noise but don't surrender to or fetishise it...
